SYNERWAY has been on the IT services market since 2002. There have been a few landmarks in the company’s history related to creating strategic technologies, acquiring key clients, partnerships with other companies.
In 2002 the Company started the product line of content management system EasyWeb – revolutionary and one of the first in Poland CMS system. In the same year the works on mass e-mailing platform started, EasyMail as well as customer care chat software – eLinia. In 2002 we began providing services in the area of websites promotion and Internet positioning and created SEO department (at present it is a part of eCommerce Department – currently one of the largest in the Company).
In the first year of activity SYNERWAY was mainly focused on supporting tourism sector. In this period integrated sale-reservation systems were created. Also, an advanced integration of a portal Onet.pl (‘tourism’ section) with reservation system of one of our clients was carried out.
In 2003 we concentrated our efforts on developing sale-reservation technology Synerway Booking System, which led to building a few fully automated online hotel reservation systems. In this period we began working on intra- and extranet technology, which contributed to the implementation of intranet system, in the Ministry of Science and Computerisation among others, and – in 2004 – intranet system of tourist reservation in a chemical concern BASF. One of the most important implementations in 2003 was building a corporate Internet service for Lufthansa City Center group.
In the years 2004-2005 SYNERWAY acquired over 100 new clients and became a leader in creating Internet platforms of hotel reservations. The experience gained during the implementations of a few dozens of integrated sale and reservation systems allowed to develop an innovative and flexible transaction technology BlueVendo that fully replaced the technology line Synerway Booking System.
In 2005 SYNERWAY received accreditation from the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) in the field of advisory activity in the implementation of software increasing competitiveness of enterprises, which allowed us to implement class CRM and ERP system within UE programmes PHARE and SOP ICE.
In 2006 the company obtained the status of SAP business partner – the recognized world leader among the providers of business software for companies from all branches and sectors. Along with the development of services related to implementing integrated class ERP system, an IT Consulting Department was created (currently part of IT Department) that brought together specialist in the field of analysis of business processes taking place in our clients’ companies. In 2006 SYNERWAY started a partnership with eCard SA. The agreement was the result of several years of cooperation in the area of implementation of electronic payment solutions.
In June 2006 a prestigious report Computerworld Top200 classifying the biggest IT companies in Poland put SYNERWAY on the 96th position in the ranking “Companies selling own software in 2005”. In October 2006r. the advisory company Deloitte put SYNERWAY on the 2nd position in Poland (7th position in Europe) in the category “Rising Stars” of its Technology Fast 50 ranking, classifying the fastest developing tech companies in Central Europe.
In 2007 the company continued developing of highly qualified staff of specialists in the field of IT and Marketing, at the same time extending the managing staff which allowed to implement internal projects effectively. The purpose was to address the company’s products to mass clients. In connection to that, in 2007 SYNERWAY intensified selling activities of eMarketing services and optimized the process of providing those services, substantially increasing sale margin on those services. Additionally, two internal projects started. The result of the first one is a product for hotels, motels and boarding houses addressed to mass client B2B. The result of the second one is a product for tour operators. Neither have any direct competition either on Polish or European market.
SYNERWAY also appointed the Department of Internet Investment Projects, whose task is the development of Internet B2C and B2B projects in undeveloped areas with high margin and no direct competition. The above actions allowed to increase subscription revenues in the revenues total from 24% to 56%.
